This is the first big one I found at Red Top. Amethyst, and Goethite from Walker Valley
awesome Geode with Calcite. My love found this one.
I call this alligator breath. This is only 1 inch but it's a nice agate.
I've never seen anything like this from Red Top. This was about 8 inches round.

| My Top Treasure Hunting Tips | 1. Bring a husky along. They are very good at digging.
| 2. Don't assume the minerals are only in certain materials. They could be anywhere.
| 3. don't give up just because you haven't found anything yet.
| 4. rainy days are always good days to hunt.
| 5. Bring towels to keep from damaging your specimens.
