Well here is a little bit about myself. I am 44 years old I live in Tacoma. You can meet my family down below. I have always enjoyed beach combing and really enjoyed when I found an agate but they were few and far between where I was. When I was young we used to go to Agate Beach on the Straits and that place was fantastic but you can't go there anymore. I purchased a rock tumbler because we had so much beach material I thought why not polish it up. I would look up articles online about rocks and tumbling and that is how I came to be here. I was surfing the web and came upon this wiki and was amazed at how willing everyone was to share information and the comraderie I saw. I probably watched the posts for a month or so before I joined. I was a little leary because I don't have much rockhounding experience but you all made me feel right at home and I am thrilled to be here.
