I was looking for a hobby, and I love CSI and the History Channel so this made a TON of sense...

My most exciting find: Books, It's where it all starts, I TRULY fell in love with a book titled Golden Mirages by Philip Bailey. Written in 1941 after 20+ years of researching and interviewing old desert rats. I was able to find all of his personal notes as well and made copies of EVERYTHING !!!

green rock

Description of treasure: Green rock ( I can't remember the name )

Where I found it: On the old toll road between San Bernardino and Victorville.

How I found it: Climed a small embankment checking out what looked like a smelter and it was there near some RR tracks..

Appraisal information: $ 30-40

Treasure signs at Travertine Point

Description of treasure: Old Lost Jesuit Gold symbols

Where I found it:NW end of the Salton sea

How I found it: Followed a story by Walter Ford in Desert Magazine

Split Rock

Description of treasure: Photo of Split Rock, this granite rock is about 15ft tall and 25-30 ft wide. The desert heat is what made it split.

Where I found it: Anza Borrego Desert

How I found it: Drove up to it
