Posted Scenic Pictures of the last weekend when we went to Central Oregon. Had to share they where to beautiful to keep to myself. Also posted our finds. I laid them out in my living room window sill in the sunlight. I heard that the sun and moon recharges them for healing purposes (Not sure if i believe in that) But i do believe that the sun makes the crystals more vibrant.

There is a way we Native Americans use when we acquire a stone or crystal for our personal use. to make a stone "yours" no matter how it came to you is simple.first place it in a bowl or container. then add enough water to cover the stone or crystal till it is about a half inch over it. Then place this in a spot where the moon can shine on it for four nights in a row. It does not matter if the moon shines all night or not. then on the morning after the fourth night take to stone or crystal out of the water and smudge it with white or buffalo sage. Wrap it in red cloth until you are going to use it and when you are not using it keep it wrapped in the cloth. We use this method so that the stones or crystals will accept us and speak to us through the feelings we get when holding them. Believe it or not it works. tom
