My Top Treasure Hunting Tips
1. Look Down . . all the time
2. Dont give up - keep looking (down) - bring your sense of humor!
3. Go hunting after a rainstorm.
4. Bring Friends - rocks found, in the company of good friends, bring back great memories later!
5. Don't bring the dog unless you also plan to bring lots of towels . .
More about me..

How I first got into treasure hunting... I have been picking up rocks on the side of road or anyplace else since I was old enough to stand . .

My treasure hunting obsession(s): Pretty gems and minerals, fossils.

My most exciting find: 5 Inch Megalodon Tooth!! A Beautiful Arrowhead. Kyanite, Iolite and Rubies from Wyoming. Several Thousand Garnets from North Carolina.

My favorite places to look for treasure: Aren't they all?

My favorite treasure hunting techniques: Taking along my 2 best friends - my kids

My treasure hunt toolkit contains... A bucket, ziplocks, hammer, scoop/garden trowel, chisel, collapsable shovel, white cheddar cheezits, bottle of white wine in case I need to celebrate =}

I'm presently hunting for... Iolite, Amethyst, giant sharks teeth

Recommended treasure hunting resources: The Internet! - Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; Teach him to use the Internet, and he won't bother you for weeks!

Warning!
Dog will Immediately THROW himself in ANY amount of water (muddy is better) without invitation or provocation.

And the odds of it happening are directly proportional to how clean the car is!

Does anyone know why my friends list overlaps my profile? Or better yet - how I fix that?
Do you find this valuable?
