beeleever Hunting for Jade and Gemstones After Heavy Rains 0 Oct 19 2009, 6:31 PM EDT by beeleever

I have this Saturday off and plan to hunt for some Jade and maybe some gemstones too. I know I can find some Jade near the beach, but I'm also drawn to any creek bed areas to look for any gemstones. We have had heavy rains here in California, that will help wash out some gem material. Does anyone have any good hunting areas along the beach and near any stream beds that they like to hunt in Northern California?
Do you find this valuable?
