My name is Joe Bittner and I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I grew up in Pennslyvania, where I used to search for old homesteads and dumps from the 1700 and 1800's. This is where my interest of history was born. I still look for history, but also spend a lot of time with rock hounding, especially looking Fairburn agates.
