We live in Seattle, Washington. In a community called Ballard. We are a family of three. Me, husband, son (9). We love to hunt for rocks, fossils locally. We are ready to hit the road and do some serious digging and/or have an adventure that would both be fun for John and I and let Joseph (8) enjoy the outdoor and experience some of what I did as a child. My parents were serious rockhounds. We had tumblers, saws, traveled all over the US going to old mines, digging in the desert, mountains, etc. It was a lot of fun. My mom's garden currently is full of the giant hunks of turquoise we brought back from Ariz. I think. We are particularly interested in a road trip to meet other people who think that digging for rocks is fun. Or just exploring something, it is always better with good company. So please let me know if you are interested in getting together spring/summer or even sooner. Probably be nice to find an "easy" place to start like fee for mining thing. We are also interested in further off adventures, though they would have to be planned for a bit farther ahead due to work schedules of course. You can really get some good deals on travel. So come on Washington, who wants to go have some fun??? Really, let's do it, you only live once right?? I am totally open for suggestions. On another "thread" they are talking about all kinds of places that can be checked out... lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
