Hi Andy, I'm the field trip coordinator for the club up here in Wenatchee. Larry Shaw forwarded me an email last month about your club joining us on our trip to Red Top tomorrow. He also forwarded the massage to our club president, who I thought was going to contact you. Found out today that he didn't. So, I realize this is the eleventh hour, but are you still interested? My phone numbers are 745-8848 (home) and 670-1217 (cell). If you can't make it on such short notice, perhaps I could guide you up there at a later date.

I have always found geology fascinating. My love for the natural beauty and wonder that is this world is always growing as I discover its secrets. That is not to say I have no interest in its golden treasure and monetary measure and that is not my main goal in life. Seek it I shall with all the enthusiasm I can muster. Now ! Having said this; I'll have to admit that I am a novice, a well intentioned amatuer with heart and can use all the help I can get. I am glad to discover this meeting place and fervently hope we can all be of help to one another. I hope this means a number of new friends and I look forward to sharing my adventures. I have just purchased a Minelab XT18000 for a great price from someone who cannot find the time to make use of it. But I shall try my best with help.

With Spring having Sprung here on the Eastside I have shed my winter slippers and put on my hiking shoes to scour the local roadsides on my favorite Easter Agate Hunt. Each year I am amazed at the variety, color and size of agates which I have been fortunate enough to find. This year appears to be no exception.
Having been out searching 3 different days for approx 2 hrs each I have allready been rewarded with some very nice ones. Estimated 3 day total 2-3 lbs of Columbia Basin Agates. YeeHaw
