You two sure had an adventure finding and gathering those two large agates,,lol. Congratulations on the find and the report. Great job on both. too bad the Rock hounding "tip" for this trip was an anatomical one,,lol. Hope your hand is doing better. That area is getting closer to geving up that hundred pounder. Wonder who will break the mark. Last year we had an agate contest among someof us here on the wiki. Perhaps this year we could make it "the lunker hundred contest" to see who breaks the mark.

"Bill you know that is very well said. Look at the "soul of the stone". That is so ture with anything be it rock, mineral, gem, even a piece of wood. It is not the size that makes the trophy. Thanks Bill.

I love those uniquely colored and wierdly shaped rocks and when you throw in some swirls and bands and varigated patterns then my ears start to wiggle. tom
