AGATE | Moss Agates are considered to be the most powerful. They aid in restoration of energy, and are used in healing. They are believed to bring the wearer happiness, wealth, health, and long life. They increase the ability to ward off self-induced anger and inner bitterness. Moss-Green agates balance emotional energy. Moss Red agates balance physical energy. Carnelian Agates provide protection and energy. Moss Blue or Blue Lace agate brings tranquillity. | |
AMBER | Amber is a powerful healing stone with large amount of organic energy. In ancient times, amber was ground to a powder and mixed with honey or oil of roses for various physical problems. It filters germs and infections and has the power to disinfect. Worn around the neck it will help fight infection and respiratory diseases. It is known to lift the spirits. | |
APATITE | Apatite promotes communication and mental clarity. | |
AMETHYST | Amethyst increases spiritual awareness, has a calming and soothing influence, has the ability to transmute negative into positive, and is very effective as a healing stone. Warmed and placed on the forehead and temples, it is good for headaches. Amethyst has the ability to draw through it forces directed towards the body and repels vibrations which the body doesn't need, thus releasing only the energy patterns beneficial to the body. CITRINE | Citrine stimulates openness and accelerates the awakening of the mind. It is an aid to the digestive system. Helps eliminate toxins. Encourages tremendous healing on the emotional and mental levels, helps unblock subconscious fears, and serves as a natural relaxant. | |
CORAL | Coral balances physical energy and relaxes tensions. Carries the creative vibrations of the sea. | |
EMERALD | Emerald promotes creativity, stimulates perception and insight, and strengthens memory. It has a beneficial effect on the eyes. | |
GARNET  | Garnet balances hormones, is good for mental depression, enhances self-esteem, alleviates bad dreams, and encourages success in business. It is thought to assist in seeing into past incarnations. | |

MALACHITE  | Malachite is often used as a child's talisman to sleep soundly & protect from bad dreams. It is known to Stimulate clear vision and insight, represent hope and inner peace, and believed to protect from danger. Increases abundance in all areas of life. | |
MOONSTONE  | Moonstone brings good fortune. It reflects the wearers being and feelings and promotes unselfishness. I just got back from a camping vacation to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and four to five times saw black bears roaming during the daytime. One was a mother and cub and the other times just cubs. This was the first time I've seen bears in person while hiking, camping, or driving. When I saw them many times I thought they might be my power animal. During Shamanic Journeys before, a mountain lion was my power animal. During one of my journeys I became the puma. This time I relate strongly to the black bear. From past down stories, supposedly, I have Creek Indian blood in me from way back. My dad is the Native American side. When he hooked a rug once, it had all Native American symbols on it. Predominate was the Thunderbird. My dad loved carving stone, cutting and polishing them, and making jewelry from his gemstones. He made elks tooth earrings for my mom once too. I truly admire especially inlaid jewelry created by Native American Artists. That is one of my dreams to create beautiful jewelry someday.

As usual Terry did a great job creating a new page. I asked her and added some pics . I have to admit it goes against my scientific training. However, it is quite interesting . I did not know that Garnet balances hormones, is good for mental depression, enhances self-esteem, alleviates bad dreams, and encourages success in business. It is thought to assist in seeing into past incarnations. Sounds great, almost unbelievable. But if I can discover I was a rock in a previous life I will be happy.
