General description: Essonite Garnet outcropping is found on southeast side of road 1/2 mile from train station.
How to get there:
From the West Redding train station follow road along railroad tracks to the southwest. 1/2 mile from station look for rock outcrop on your left. There is a very small area for one car to park at the foot of the outcrop. Park here, and collect above.
