I am now convinced there are several sources of Jade in that range. Bear Creek is a different source then Pilchuck, and Deer Creek is different then Pilchuck as well, however, I think the Grossular in Deer Creek may be of the same mass as in Pilchuck, and maybe an area about 5 miles North of Deer Creek on the North Fork of the Stilly. I'd like to start a side project where we map the sources, and what types of Jade, Grossular and nice serpentines come from which spots.

I think you are right about the hgg from deer. the glacial path I've seen ( a lidar map) is consistent with that. Yes there is a source above Bear, and as for Pilchuck, stimson hill is a likely candidate (and the Glacier and Bear Creek of course).
