(1) Play nicely with others

• Respect your peers — Treat others and their contributions with respect and foster considerate dialogue.
• Do not use offensive language — Inappropriate, crude, or abusive language is not only unacceptable, it’s a lousy way to convince anyone of your point.
• Remember, there are no stupid questions— Everyone’s input is welcomed and honored. “Flaming” others or demeaning their participation or opinions may build your self-esteem but it won’t help build community.
• Report inappropriate behavior — Remove and/or report to the moderators disrespectful or provocative content, but refrain from seeking vigilante justice.

(2) Act in good faith

• Don’t pilfer material — Don’t publish content to which you have no rights. Period. Full stop.
• It’s about you, but not about YOU — This site exists to support an organic and communal body of information. Shameless self-promotion and hawking of wares are strictly verboten, not to mention pathetic. For a case study please read cynthiaslist. The wiki does have a classified ads page for members, but this is not for commercial postings. If you have a website that you wish to promote, contact a moderator and we will be able to review your requests for relevance to the community.
  

(3) Promote the community spirit

• Use the Moderators as a resource — Reach out to the Moderators for guidance or advice on how best to leverage the site. They are there to help.
• Share the experience — Be an ambassador of the community by enrolling others in the discussion, sponsoring a good debate, and setting a good, collaborative example.

(4) Keep it original

• Don't copy the content on other sites because people will know what you are doing!

(1) Please create your own pages and do not edit other pages without requesting permission from or working with the person who originally created the page. ~ If you do not know how to look for the original creator of the page, please ask someone and they will help you find out. - (2) Please try to keep the Main Title Page for each Category as general as possible. ~ Changes should not be made to the Main Category page unless sent to the creator to request the change or update, additions may be made that are general information in nature or to add a link to other pages and information. Sub pages may be added under each category page and you may design them however you wish. The menu on the left indicates that there are sub-pages with a > to the left of the category. - (3) Photos are a great addition to any page, however if you are using photos that are not your own, please acknowledge the photographer or contributor. ~ You may do this by placing a written acknowledgement near the photo, or providing a list of acknowledgements or references.
