Oregon fossils

My wife and I hunt the Newport,OR area for fossils,usually the Fogerty beach,Beverly Beach and Lost Creek beach and Moolack Beach.............Have found about every species of fossil in those beach areas when the gravel bars are showing after the winter storms are over in the late spring......

Hey mvd for of all welcome to the wiki. It looks like you are enjoying it and enjoy our rockin' hobby. Sounds like the fossil area on the beach is a great place to hunt. I always wanted to find a crab fossil, maybe someday. Anyway thanks for the tips and I look forward to hearing more about your adventures and some pictures of your finds.
