I found a fist sized carnelian agate a couple months ago on the Willamette River gravel bed(Oregon)......They do have some great colors to them.... Do you find this valuable?

They do have some nice colors dont they although a lot that i find after cutting them are only skin deep... Do you find this valuable?

The highly desirable ones are colored all through the stone.More often than not that wonderful orangy-red color is just the skin with a clear white center. Did ya post a photo. You can view 2012 carnelian finds on my facebook page or the Columbia River Agate pg on facebook as well.Much easier to post pictures there than on tghis site NOW 4 me. Do you find this valuable?

I have many that are colored all the way through....Most of my finds are on the Willamette River in the valley.........
