"I knew the moment I saw "Argyle lamproite", that it was one of yours, Dan! lol Cool specimen! Eric" Eric, You should have seen US Customs when they opened my suit case. I took an empty suitcase just for rocks. They probably thought I had rocks in my head. Where I collected this rock was from a very rich zone in the Argyle pipe that averaged 680 carats/100 tonnes and in some cases ran as low as 400 carats to an unbelieveable high of 2000 carats/100 tonnes (doesn't get any richer than that). I also wanted to bring back some Argyle 'pinks' but didn't find any. The jeweler in Perth wanted $5000 for a rough stone of about a carat weight and nearly $1,000,000 for a faceted carat. So I brought back the rocks and left the stones so to speak. Dan
