This is impressive, Dan--especially when you think about its origins. It's kind of strange for me seeing igneous rocks in an igneous rock groundmass. I'm used to seeing phenocrysts in a porphyry instead of xenocrysts, xenoliths (on this small of a scale, of course) and megacrysts. Thanks for sharing.

"It would be - but it is really difficult to get anyone interested in diamonds as the market dropped dramatically for rough diamond prices over the last couple of months. DiamonEx Ltd from Brisbane may have been the best opportunity, but they couldn't weather the economic storm along with a couple of mistakes. Oh well, guess we'll just have to win the next lottery and put the property into production ourselves. Dan" Sign of the times, Dan, unfortunately. Hopefully, things will start to improve in the not too distant future. Eric
