Description: The kimberlite contact is sharp. If the magma was hot, it would produce a zone of melted rock. Near the surface, kimberlite has CO2 under pressure at 32 degrees F, sort of like Mentos & Diet Coke - they also have emplacement velocities of Mach 2 or 3
