I am heading to Colorado in May and would like to do some hunting for treasures. Any suggestions? I hear that Gunnison is a good place to look for minerals and gem stones.

Sloan 1 Kimberlite, Colorado
The kimberlite is outlined by the red line. This is a well-mineralized diamond deposit that I picked up for an Australian diamond company in 2008. It had and indentified $33 million to 330 million carat resource near the surface.
