Selenite (with Garcia's spirit inclusion lol, no joke see for yourself!)
This is an unedited, unadulterated, shot in pitch black studio with no picture of Jerry present, 1,200 other images same shot, angle, exposure, no image of Jerry. Was later informed it was by far Jerry's favorite crystal for its cleaning abilities.

Fluorite in the Carefree AZ area
I was going to look for some Fluorite today, but must have not gotten the area correct.....I think I took the wildcat parking road up to what I thought was the area, but I don't think it was....now my poor truck is all scratched up!! and I didn't find much of anything...some jasper, but that's it. I think I may have gone too far...I know I saw ruts in the road about the same time, but nothing a car or truck could make it through unless it was high up on a frame, which my truck is not (just an explorer) Do I park and hike up those ruts??? anyone else been there?? It's in the Gem Trails of AZ, and it's close to where I live, so I thought it might be neat to go explore. The book says there are crystals there too??

T-Egg Time
Okay everyone. I've been gone for awhile and now back. Nobody ever told me retirement would be so busy.
Heading to our thunderegg claim in a few weeks. Plan to be there the 4th weekend in June and staying for 5 or 6, or whatever days. All equipment pretty much ready to go except some minor work on the hoe.
The 3rd weekend we will be selling at the Prineville show if anyone would like to stop by.
Give me a heads up who is coming.

Are these geode pieces?
I've found quite a few of them. They all have tiny crystals in and around them.

Tiny Crystals
I love finding these, but I have no clue what it is. Any info would be great. They are full of holes & crevices, with crystals everywhere. After comparing photos, I think they might be pieces of geode

Tiny little crystals, What is it ?
Looks like quartz crystals to me. The yellowish color is either your lighting, or mineral staining. You could probably clean it up by letting it soak in plain old white vinegar for about a week. Afterwords, scrub it with an old tooth brush and rinse it real good.

Tiny little crystals.What is it?
I found this yesterday in a creek near my home. It has these tiny little crystals in it. I was only there for maybe 15 minutes because it was getting dark, but I'll be going back today if it doesn't rain.
