DO NOT DIG IN THE RIVER BANKS AT TEDS OL HOUSE, NAPAVINE WA. ! Thank U
A great agate/ wood, jasper spot, and now everyone knows about it right, wrong. But a lot of people know I just want to say, please DO NOT RUIN this spot. It Is posted all over, No Trespassing. Respect the land and the River, Newaukum and the banks. The ol lady across just kidding... Elouise, at North Fork Rd, and something near a barn, big, red... Ted Teitzels, Rest his Soul, his neighbor... Well she is still trigger happy and will fill ya full of rocksalt, Ted used to say. So If you know the spot and are a rockhound, Yes some good material may still be obtained occasionally. But PLEASE PLEASE Do not ruin this or other lower holoes, banks gravelbars, etc. If you DIG in The River or the River Banks in or around Napavine, I hope someone does hit ya full of Buckshot. DIGGING RUINS THE RIVER< SO DO NOT DO IT NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING...GO TO ADNA TWENTY MINUTES away, and DIG THERE. Thank you and old friend of Ted Teitzel Jr. a great friend who will be missed by many.
And So for Carnelian, Jasper Agate wood, Some various trees including, Ah I will say, Redwood, Sycamore, etc, and Beautifully agatized, I can nopt give the exact spot, but if you know it, Leave me some Rocks ta Pick, Thank you. DJH

Hanson Creek, WA, open?? Closed?? Who really knows?? Jeep Trap...
Still a great place to hike and maybe just find an Amethyst or a Sceptor, Phantom, Pyrite inclusion or Chlorite inclusion.
Possibly a rare find with Rutilated quartz, or even a Double terminated, cluster of crystals, if ya wanna work the Hard Rock, Shhh. This place may be Off Limits to Rockhounds. I have beeen going there since I was about 18, and I am 430 years old now, or 40/24, right. So There ain't neither Hell, Rick West, We just call em' Dick for short, or Did I say Hell or High Water, Thats some pretty high water to reach the 4,000 or so feet... But thats another story when the globe shifts or a huge meteorite strikes the Pacific, I mean When... So Hanson Creek Crystals, and Amethyst, etc, etc, To get there What take I 90, take Tinkham Exit and Go start looking around, After you follow 55 then 5510, thats F.S Rd... And these directions are all over. You could see my Amethesty Quartz crystal, that was , dug near the upper border of the active claim, Ol' Rick West's Claims, and He Will Call The Sheriff if you dig on his claimed lands, uhWhiner! There is enough crystals, he maybe is looking for the gold, who knows. I just want the crystals, huh, Go figure? Well Maybe a lil' Gold too, that would be ok to actually pay for Car/work, food and gas, maintenance, house?? maybe? So Doug Houlen/ Douglas Jay/ Doug/ DUG a HOLE and Made a Den to search for and find and keep on finding, my rocks, the ones I lost after I created them, lol, hahaha, just kidding, maybe... They're Mine, MINE mining, I wanna, Got a Mine, Could O, my god, Could I work it ! I need a Mine for no money down and ... hahaha, May I get my own mining operation. wanna go rockhounding in WA. Don't know where ta go ya should hit me up. I am in Lakewoood, Wa. 253 2 8 2 sell my number and1 i see 1 u in 5 hell!9 Call me if ya wanna go hounding, Crystals, Agate, Coprolites, I find em

~Very much new to this~
I noticed coming across this metal detecting device and found that this will be an exciting adventure for me.I didn't realize there's so much that goes along with it like a permit and certain areas you can go.For a starter like me I'm in westcounty where would be a great place for a starter?I also went to the jefferson city web site for permits and there's tons of permits that are irrelevant. What's an easy way to get the permits?I also would like to know do you have group days when u go as a group?
Thx SHAWNY

Republic's Stonerose fossil site
Have just returned late last night from our fossil fieldtrip and expedition up North in Republic,Washington. I am pleased to report a 4-star outing as the weather, accomadations, scenic surroundings and friendly locals contributed to this rather exceptional 2 day excursion. One reacurring event which left an imprint on me was the fact that in the community I live in it is not uncommon to see cats and dogs roaming the streets. In Republic it is not uncommon to see deer, bucks and does crossing the streets or grazing in your yard or just plain making their precence known. What can I say. Republic is truely a Blast from the Past.
