good places to hunt in Southeastern PA?

Hi - we would like to go on a day trip to hunt for any sort of fun treasure.
Do you happen to know of a location withing 2 hours of Philadelphia? If you do, please let me know! 3  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

Not sure of PA but I know in season 1 Becky went to Ogdensburg, NJ which should be fairly close to you, to look for Fluorescent Minerals which seemed pretty cool. Do you find this valuable?

Look in the menu on the left side of the page under NATIONAL DIRECTORY, there you will find a Guide and a page for your state. In the guide there is a link to the Rock and Mineral Clubs listed on the Lapidary Journal site, you could contact the club in your area and they would be glad to share information. 1  out of 1 found this valuable.
