Hi Guys!
I just moved to Alaska and am interested in finding rocks, minerals and fossils this summer. Where are the Anchor Point fossils and Cooper Landing crystals? Are they open to the public? I am in Anchorage so the Kenai is pretty close.
Thanks and great to see this chat!

Welcome to the great north. the A.P. fossils (leaves, very good detail) are along the beach. Would need either atv's or good legs to get to. Down the beach a ways I've been told. I haven't found anything else concrete around here. Still looking. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
