"Faceting a kidney agate would be an honor and is funny Having Kidney agates, Bill I feel for you! You take care and easy.

7 at one time. OMG! I probably wouldn't have survived that ordeal. 1 was bad enough. "
Paul I see how you are,if you can't beat join them.lol I am sorry to hear that Bill has kidney stones. I do think he should post a picture though. I hope that didn't sound to bad,but it can't be worse than Andy getting hungry for soup.LOL I would like to see a picture of one.lol

eww I don't know if I would want to see a picture of his kidney agate, well not until it hs been faceted. lol Mine looked like a little round dirt colored thingy. About the size of a small pea. Yeah Andy getting hungry for soup makes me wonder about him a little. But if Bill wants to show pic that would be cool too..

That reminds me as a kid growing up, my dad had gall stones. He had them in a little jar in his medicine cabinet. They were big and gross looking. lol Unfacetable. lol ;-) Paul

You guys are fortunate I have two big kidney agates one in each kidney. The most valuable one is 5.5 mm or about 4 carats. When you facet the stone I expect half the profits as a finders fee.
I have a CAT scan - they passed a old yellow tom cat over me- which produced some remarkable pictures, The tom cat liked to clawed me to death but luckly there was a camera present. They gave me a little cup with a screen in it to high grade the stones. There where four originally but I was able to pan out two with my screen. I have done some hard rock mining in the heat of the summer with no water and scorpions crawling across my bare arms but I have never ever worked as hard extracting an gem as I did those two stones. If its any thing like having a baby I am glad that was left up to Billie. If men and women both had babies there would be only one child per family. The other two they bring out the explosives. One of those sonic blashers. Wish me luck.

You Know I don’t think the title of this thread is really appropriate. The lighter side of Kidney "A"'s? Bill it sounds like you are have a bit of a rough time. I know when Val was giving birth she compared it to something like me pulling my scrotum up over the top of my head. (sry, I hope I didn't offend anyone) Well when I gave birth to my micro-"A". I think I would have rather pulled something over my head instead of going through the process of passing that thing. But once it went through talk about feeling better!

I wish you the best of luck with the sonic blasters. I hear they work very well. take care and get this yucky stuff over with so you can get back to having fun! Paul

You tell the doc you have a guy in Washington who wants to facet them stones and to be real careful,,,lol. I pray for a speedy passing and a quick recovery for you. I think the next swap is going to have to include some hush puppis.

"One of my biggest concerns is that the site is getting narrower and narrower. New people will come visit a time or two and leave. Handy anyone is adding to the content. I love T-Eggs but 135 pictures of T-Eggs should tell the story. I contacted Gem & Mineral and they are going to talk the site up in their next issue. I just hope we will make it a broader site and get more people involved. People like you Tom and you Andt.
Bill"
I mentioned the Wiki in my August column in Rock & Gem. Hopefully, you'll start to get posts from Rock & Gem readers by the end of summer. If I can find some time, I'll post some information, but editing is my strength.

Hi everyone
I don’t know if everyone or if it is just my computer (internet browser). I have to click on the refresh icon on every page before I am able to select or edit anything. I always get "Error on Page" message down in the lower left hand corner by the STRAT button. When I first get to the wiki I have to refresh the screen before I can even log in to my profile. When I first joined this wiki I was not aware of this. So I stop coming to this wiki for a while. I decided to try again and I accidentally click the refresh icon. Wow the screen format changes and I am able to select and edit items. Dose anyone else have this problem? Maybe this is why only a few of the 1439 member actually contribute to the wiki.?.?
Just wondering

Hi Tom, I have had problems off and on but not very often though. Sometimes it won't remember my login and I have to re-login. There have been a couple of times I couldn't log in for several days. But I don't remember having a problem similiar to yours. You could be right, why so few of 1400+ members partipate. Though I think there are more than we think lurking in the shadows. But I wonder why you have a problem doing things and and some of us don't. Though it isn't perfect. I have had problems with the editing page was slow to load, I just cancel it and hit edit again and it works fine. Hang in the man. Keep rockin' Paul

There is a refresh icon?
I had trouble acouple of times my self but i went through the back door and got in. I went to the travel cahnnel home page, then went to cash and treasures home page then went to wiki. I get the error message once in a while too and just restart the edit like paul does.

Thanks to everyone who particpates here. I have learned so much about rockin' and how to use the laptop. My computer jumps to different things while I am in the midst of posting. I don't know if it's the new computer - it might be fat fingers in my case. Do you find this valuable?
