Do you know of any rock or mineral clubs in your area? How about a state mineralogical society? Those are all excellent resources. Or, if you happen to see someone with a lot of rocks in the yard, just stop and talk to them. I've found that to be very informative and fun.Happy hunting, Dan Do you find this valuable? |

Unfortuantely there are no clubs I know of here. I will surely take your advice on talking to people though.

"Thanks"The Mobile Club has some sites near you for seam agate (Alabama Blue) They also hunt paleocene mammals in the sand creeks in southern Alabama and Mississippi. Horses, Camels, Mastodonts. Saber Tooth Tiger etc. Do you find this valuable? |
