Treasure hunting in North Alabama.

Hi you all, Just signed up on this site and I would like to know if there are any treasure hunters in the North Alabama area? I have started planing my spring and summer and need to know some hot places to go arround The Huntsville Alabama area. Looking for any type of hunting. Thanks. Do you find this valuable?

Did you every join the right forum. I was president of the Huntsvile Gem & Mineral Society for several years,.I have rockhound buddies all over Huntsville that I can put you in touch with. On the Alabama page in the National Directory I have posted some of my best sites and I hope you go to them. I would start by looking up the Huntsville Gem and Mineral Society and go by and see Dewey Moss at his rockshop and tell him I sent you. Dewey is Rockhound of the year as voted by the Southeast Federation of Gem & Mineral Clubs. The Huntsville Club web site is: http://www.huntsvillegms.org/ . Ask me specific questions and I will share. We are not greedy on this WIKI.

THere ya go. That is how this site has become one of the top rock info sites around. Ask a question and boom get an answere of not only what and where but who and how. Just too great for words.
