thanks for the welcome I will be posting pic. soon when i get back home. i just found this site yesterday after seeing the the show on tv about herkimer diamounds i have had them for about 8 years i will also put some pic. of the purest silver in the world that come from hot springs nc. 98.9% that leads me to believe that the gold is the purest as well there is a reason that not allot of gold is not found here the mineral is different there is only to kinds of metal detectors that pick it up. one is the fisher gold nugget these or things i have not shared with anyone till now.looking forward to sharing more about hot springs NC. and yes we have had the big foot team here last year after sightings. Thanks Barry

Yes Paul, they are double tipped. I forget the correct terminology for them. I'm out of town. I will send pictures as soon as I get home. I have two types. The other is a burst of crystals with a rock base. Quite beautiful! I don't know how to describe it. The state geologist said he had never seen anything quite like it. I look forward to posting pictures. I am excited about finding this sight with people that share the same interest, I feel I have found a home now. Thanks for the welcome, Barry
