"Me too.Was just down at Lynx Creek about 7 miles southeast of Prescott. We actually found some gold in every pan in the banks. I understand that it was one of the more productive placer streams in that State. DB 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Good luck DB dbsagates.com 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Howdy! Here's a hot tip... go above Walker AZ's fire hall... find the deepest spots on Lynx creek. Back in the day they "cleaned up" the creek, in doing that they have scooped the bottom of the creek and put the material on the bank. Back in the 40's and 50's they considered this cleaning to be a good thing, now we understand what it does to the habitat. But for us prospectors it makes nice piles of rocks to pick through! :-) Happy Trails Do you find this valuable? |
