MINING CLAIMS-----partners needed
Mar 12 2009, 11:28 AM EDT
hello treasure hunters,,, are you aware that the more folks you have looking the better your chances of a find....hense,, why we are involved in a information sharing site. The mining claim rules state an individual is allowed to stake out a claim on worthy ground ,in almost all areas of federal land bank....state grounds with permission...this is done by 20 acre plots per signature...you may do this 10 times by yourself and still remain a small entity miner...for a total of 200 acres..thats plenty to make a discovery and a ton of work to do , so why not just claim the entire section and everyone comes and diggs at will...its called an association claim and a great ,way to land lock a large area of ground for a long time...if you are lucky and make multiple discoveries everyone shares in the mother lode

I think i'm crazy enough to try it this next year .. there are enough washington folk here that if we spent some time prospecting a new site we could get something nice you'd think .. or maybe i'm all wet.. I hear the costs are minimal and I could invest a into something like that ..sounds like fun to me.. Do you find this valuable? |

"I only have one thing in mind..Oh Man Jake that is serious. lol Kids and school, I think I am still giddy from my last day at school. Though it was just yesterday. I learned a bunch then. But yeah I remember the end of school for the summer walk to the house. Sometimes it was short lived as the next week was usually picking fruit or other types of work. lol But it sure felt good! lol I am sure that you and many others can come up with claim sites. You do so much exploration that you could easily stumble into something. No pun intended. ;-) Get out there walking them creeks and rivers, climbing those cliffs, get good geological survey maps and heaven forbid DO NOT FORGET THE ROCK HAMMER! lol Have fun! WOW,,, not a good morning for me to loose my favorite reading glasses....nice responses and energy and ideas...i was working the maps till 1-30 this morning and my eyes are not working...I know your a long timer here syonix,, so ill pick on you ...haaa------ please forgive my typing and punctuation skills,,,my hands hurt from the years of swinging my rock hammers and mattixes.....It is my impression in meeting just a few of the good peoples on this site that there is so much talent and experience that someone or all ones need to gather forces and get a section claim somewhere in the middle of us all and get 640 acres of plossable mineral ground,,,lets say Colorado for example and by way of signature ,,,form the TH wiki people claim ...Whos good with names??? rally in mid summer and invite the GUMSTER to come shoot a show of a bunch of hounds running all over a mountain with claim stakes and ID tags....THE county commissioner would show up just to watch...once its filled as a discovery at the courthouse...we will all vote SKEETER in as association president...MR> Renolds as mining engineer and YOU as storefront operator and we all get to be on TV........its all totally legal and feasable...all the best----- joey-----

I picked on SYONIX,,,for the big reply...a must read...but ill answer you directly...haaaa---I tried to take a 160 association claim in AZ..to be profitable,,,still have it ,just in limbo cause im back in iowa for health reasons ...The gold out there is the water...so i figured a way to get spring well rights..in my name,,so i could put in a stock tank for all the eagles and elk...soon as i got done with the gravity flow piping and bobber in the tank a bunch of testosterone hunters decided to blow it to hell...havent seen that 80 yr. old grandma eagle the last 2 years either...so theres why us good people need to go land lock the outdoors...i am affiliated with the forestry and BLM and working on getting my hot shot pilots license back...while im healing im chatting with the earth people....GOLD and PLATINUM AND SILVER when you find those together with good augufarris quartz --- the gems are always nearby--kinda a perk of geology..all the best---joey

I'd sure be up for going in on claim. I don't know much about them, but would love to have a place to go that was mine (ours). So if you all are serious, keep me in the loop. I'd like someplace that's pretty easy to get to tho... only have a truck and not a 4X4 or anything. I liked what was said in one of the other discussion threads... about the claim that was just out of town and any rig could get there. Sounds like fun!mary Do you find this valuable? |

"Do you knnow of any web sites which list the procedures for applying for mining claims? Some friends and I up in South Dakota have been talking about it, but not sure where to start. Thanks, Joe"Hey Joe B, not a hard process to do. Have had mining claims here for 35yrs and still have some on Battle Cr and Foster Gulch So. of Rockerville. Give me a call. Just have to find an area that is on Forest Service land that is not clamed and a general idea that there may be gold to be found. Then you just get the Sec. and Twp readings, do your discovery and file the claims with the County Court house and with the BLM in Billings. and get it staked with your claim notices and your in. Now that wasn't hard was it. Do you find this valuable? |
