I have a friend who lives in Williston, North Dakota, looking to take her son out rockhounding. Does anyone know of any good sites for beginers around that area? Do you find this valuable?

Some really good areas just S/W of there where the Missouri and Yellowstone come together. All kinds of petrified wood, agates, jasper and some fossils are found off of US 200 on either side up and down the river. Good Luck. DB 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
