New Benitoite Dig site now open

Since the Benitoite mines was forced to close a year ago due to the closure of the surrounding area, the owner of the Benitoite Mine has opened a fee Dig site at his place, "The Old Road Camp" on the edge of Coalinga, California. He is bringing material down from the mine to his place for people to screen for benitoite. Last weekend was the opening and everyone found nice pieces and everyone had a great time.
