I have a book that list all sorts of free sights to go to,it is northwest treasure hunters gem and mineral guide, I got it on ebay. it gave this web site to get information for the free or almost free places to pan. www.oregongeology.com .and it gave phone #'s for the salem blm 503-375-5646 and the medford blm 541-770-2200 then the applegate ranger district 541-899-1812. the authors are Kathy j Rygle and Stephen f Pendersen. Hope that helps Do you find this valuable?
