I remember seeing the Travel Channel show where they ended up mining for turquoise in Nevada. Kirsten said it was $50.00 a day and they provided the tools. But when I called, the fee was $100.00 per person to mine out there. Is there anyone that knows if the rates go up certain times of the year? I called to go now for the Summer. When the travel Channel went they were in December. Do you find this valuable?

I remember that it was $50.00 b/c I have that show taped. I do not know if it changes with the seasons.
