Hi my name is Gina I live in North West Georgia. I am new to mineral and rock colecting I would like to make friends and learn from them.. I live in Rockmart Ga. It is in Polk County neighboring counties are Paulding, Rome, Haralson, Bartow. Do you find this valuable?

Hi Gina, You'll find that us South Dakota folks tend to stick together. Not that we don't speak to others on the wiki. We try hard to be friends with everyone on here. And you'll find that all of us are willing to answer any questions you may have, or offer our help if you need it. So join in the fun. Contact any of us if you want to talk rocks, or just talk. We don't bite. Everyone on the wiki are friendly, helpful people.

Greetings and Salutations Gina from all us Washington Rockhounds. Yes we Bark alot over rocks on this site, growling now again but as stated before none of us dogs bite and this dog pound of a site is an excellent forum of real time knowledge and experience. As for my pedigree >>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm a retriever :)

I THINK YOUR BETS BET WOULD BE TO FIND YOUR LOCAL ROCK CLUB AND JOIN IT. THEY ARE FULL OF ROCKHOUNDS ANDTHEY WILL KNOW YOUR AREA AND THE MEMBERSHIPS ARE VERY REASONABLE. THEY CAN GET YOU STARTED HUNTING. ROCK MAGS. NEW AND OLD MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TOO AND YOU CAN ALSO GET THE GEM TRAILS FOR YOUR AREA. YOU CAN ALSO GOOGLE ROCK HUNTING OR ROCKS FOUND IN YOU AREA. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AND WELCOME AGAIN.

Rome Georgia has a great R&G Club. The best club in the South East is the Atlanta Club.
Lot's of great places in Georgia. I have collected in many sites in Georgia and there is a great Lapidary School in Georgia. Yesterday I was in Atlanta on business. Welcome Gina.
