I've only been to Quartz Creek for thunder eggs a couple times but I love digging up there. The last time I was there I drove around the roads for about 10 maybe 15 miles trying to find the second location where the geodes are found but I had no luck. I found a road cut with some smaller thundereggs about the size of berries but none were hollow. It was just a clay road cut anyway. Does anyone have any idea where the geode location is up there and can you kindly post directions. Thanks for your help. Happy hunting everybody.

Nate

Where abouts is Quartz Creek? Livy and I saw the pics of some off the T-eggs that came from that location and now she wants to go.

quartz creek is about 40 miles nw of Yakima on Hwy 410. There's a few threads about it and if you type in quartz creek in the search there is a couple of maps that show you where it is. Do you find this valuable?

Is quartz creek the same place as Little Naches? Do you find this valuable?

It is the same place. Little Naches follows the first road on the way to the quartz creek dig site. The creek is just down the hill from the site. Do you find this valuable?

Oh cool. Thanks for the info. I didn't know if there was another place to rock up there. I guess there is a dig site a couple of miles farther up the road but they are really small.
