I just found this site, cool...I am becoming familiar with Oregon rockhounding,so if anyone wants to rap,let me know.

Welcome aboard JJDiamond. I'm not from Oregon. I'm from South Dakota. But there are many nice members on here from Washington who would be glad to swap rockhounding tales with you. Many are familiar with the good spots to rockhound in Oregon. If you ever decide to travel east to South Dakota, There are about 5 of us over here who would be glad to take you to some good houndin spots. Just come over to the Fairburn Agates thread and give us a shout.

Ya, He's baaaack. I wonder for how long this time. I also wonder how long it will be before he starts going off on some of our members again. Sounds like you had a good trip Skeeter. Why don't you share some of your info with JJDiamond ? And let him know we don't crack thundereggs, We saw and polish them.

Hey JJ, welcome to the wiki and these yahoos we got on here. We generally don't crack t-eggs, but every once in a while it happens. lol I hope you enjoy the site, there is a ton of very useful info here. I think a person could spent months trying to digest it all. The national directory has a good listing for hunt site in OR.

My experience in OR is primarily ocean agates, sunstones and Richardsons Rock Ranch. I have a trip report if you are interested in reading it. Let me know and I will get you the link. OR has it all I think. A rock hunters dream. lol

We did have a good trip had a lot of fun and left at the right time there was snow in the air, i cut some of my three in T-eggs they look real good inside a lot of design in them. For some reason i can't down load any thing from my camera to the PC, don't know what wrong. I will help any way i can but i'm new to Oregon only been there two times, but they have a lot of rock in the central part of the state, there was to many miles from spot to spot, so i only hit a couple, had to keep the wife happy take her to the casino for a night, I realy like Richardson Ranch tho at a Dollar a lb you have to watch what you take. Yep i'm getting old starting to ramble on.

You have some real nice T-eggs. Thank you for posting them. I injured my back again in Aug. This time in a small puddle of water at work. Hurt the left side. Doc said no surgery but I have to do water therapy 3x's a week for 6 weeks. Haven't done a heck of a lot. I sure miss hunting for treasures. Maybe next Spring I'll be able to get out and about. MAN! When it comes to LUCK, all I've been having is bad, except when I met Clarence, my future husband.

Hey Willi, Bummer about the back. You'd better take care of yourself. Otherwise, They may have to wheel you down the isle to get married. Tell Clarence to take care of you, cause he caught himself a good woman. Get well quick.
