Nov 20 2007, 6:34 PM EST Texas Has a very beautiful place called The LLano uplift where Topaz is found and Numerous ranchers open their peoperty to rock and Gem hunters for a nominal fee usually around $10.oo The chances of finding a Topaz is quite good there are three colors. Clear, Blue, and yellow. depending on where you are and what you want to find there is also though very small and hard to see even with good vision Gold some tourmalines and pyrites as well as quartz. And even if you don't have any luck finding Topaz, what so ever the history and beauty of the area, is well worth a look. 23 out of 23 found this valuable. Do you? |

Dec 8 2007, 2:36 PM EST I would like to have cash and treasures come to Central Oregon. I have heard there are thunder eggs, agates and other nice stones. There might also be gold as there are lots of creeks, rivers, streams and waterfalls. That would be great for them to come then I would know where to go! :) 20 out of 20 found this valuable. Jan 1 2008, 11:49 PM EST Fossil hunting in Calvert Cliffs; Calvert County, Maryland. Sharks teeth are very common from megladon and Makos but there are tons of fossils from fish, crocs, sea turtles inverts, sea mammals as well as a few land animals that fell in the river and were washed down stream. There is a large cliff that is off limits to the general person but I bet Kirsten could get a guided tour where she would be guarenteed to find dolphin and whale fossils as well as many others. 12 out of 16 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 8 2008, 11:10 PM EST Well for one.. we walk on, break up, and burn one very cool treasure everday haha. I go out hunting for sticks hahaha. I turn old tree branches into beautiful Hiking Sticks lol.. I mainly give them away, but you can fetch up to 15$ to 40$ per stick if you sell them.. it is a simple treaure to find, and it is a fun one to turn into a thing of beauty :) ...Keep on Hiking *grin* and remember...
