Another ship wreck and treasure hunting company can be found at http://floridarrg.com/
They dive off the east coast of Florida.

They will more than likely go bankrupt unless they are well funded.
I know that allot of the bigger outfits are searching farther out in the
Allantic off the east coast of Florida but I have a hunch that what they
will find is limited. The real prize is on the eastern front of the
southern Florida Keys.

Why? You may ask. Well, many pirate ships and Spanish Gold
Inquisition ships that were lost and continue to deposit smaller
gold items on the beaches after storms were actually lost when
they ran aground in the shallow reafs in that area during bad
storms. The bottom of those wooden hulled ships would have
been crushed against the reaf, spilling their cargo as the ship
slashed to and fro and broke up on the Coral Reaf killing the
crew in the rough water as it sank. That would be a bad way
to go if you were on a ship back then. But that is where I
believe the larger more valuable finds will be.

Spread all along the eastern shore line of the mid to lower
Flrida Keys where the majority of Spanish ships were lost.
Search the reafs where you could imagine a ship smashing
against it during a storm. In and around that area is where
you will be pleasantly surprised at what you might find.
Do you find this valuable?

Another reason I say this is... back in the day Florida was flat
and known for not having very effective light houses to warn
ship captains during storms of where exactly land was.

During a storm wind would be blowing inland toward the
mainland. These powerful gusting winds would have
blown even the heaviest of gold carrying sailing ships
into the reafs, combine that with the waves and the
swells... and you have a sunken ship.

Allot of them over the years if you do your homework
on the subject.

Of course... that is why there are whole companies investing
in the retrieval of these items. Gold is trading pretty high right
now and it is a sound investment because there are allot of
known ship wrecks on the books that haven't been salvaged
or found yet that had gold on board according to their manifests
and reported cargo from historical documents.

Going after gold you know is out there somewhere, is a safer venture
than digging up half of a mountain to wind up empty handed.
